I think Andy Anderson gets a lot of interest from the older skaters returning after a long break, especially since his first deck had a 1980s feel to it.
Those Girl art boards are proper nice, it’s like art within art

I recently bought a Girl deck to try it out and jesus fucking christ why doesn’t every company do what crailstore does? Every imaginable dimension listed in great detail with an identifier model number. So basic yet so good

I got a G045. 8" with short wheelbase. Fairly similar nose and tail.
It arrived today and i like the shape. Medium concave. Nose looks mad short (because it’s not a modern popsicle) but that’s what I ordered so I’m interested to try ot

My last Girl deck was great. 360 flip, landed, slipped out and it went under a tipper truck. Whole set up fucked….probably 26-27 years ago now though haha

I skated 2 or 3 shaped Crail boards a few years ago and they were lovely. Still have 2 on ice, should skate them this spring. Love this shape and its 14 inch wheelbase.

I reckon 70% of my boards for the past 30 years have been Girl or Chocolate. Even when they had that stint of being on wood that everyone said sucked I didn’t care.

Yeah, I think so. Seems fine to me. There was a period when they first went to a Chinese woodshop that decks did seem to be snapping more often for me. They also got flexy pretty fast. I just started riding the Pop Secret decks with the composite top ply whilst they did them. I think that’s why they were making them at the time. The wood got sorted and no more Pop Secret decks,(or Crail team riders riding Anti Hero boards instead either) The decks have been solid for ages now.
