Ugh, black wheels, the worst
Was skating with Jensen 10 years ago and he said.
“Why don’t they make filmers wheels you can just stick on your normal wheels like a condom”
Looks like he was way ahead of his time and someone is finally doing it.
randomly jumped up from 8.38 to 8.625

think im gonna maybe try a set of ace’s or something soon.
I love Ace’s. Wouldn’t bother with anything else now.
increased board width recently and so shifted from 129 to 139 indys.
subsequently lost all me kickflips.
tried risers to see if that would help but nope, nothing.
may as well get a penny and be done with it.
what you reckon itll be like coming from thunders? been on them for about 3 years but its usually when they start getting to the year mark i have issues with axle threads, bushings etc and no amount of fiddling or replacing bushings will make it feel the same.
Not had any issues at all. They have bones bushings as standard and not had any trouble with nuts/threads (and I do a lot of slappies).
They turn brilliantly as well, even if you’re not running them that loose. Apparently the geometry is copied from the old stage 3 indy.
After some experimentation it’s actually easier to push mongo as well, give it a go
These look ace, if they work.
Got 4 setups at the moment.
Trick board - 7.875, 139s, 52s
Square board - 8.125, 144s, 53s
90s shape board - 8, 139s, 52s
Boozer cruiser - 7.875, 139s, 52s
All Magenta because I help a mate who’s their local distributor and I get free boards in return. Can’t go wrong with Generator wood, and their shapes are always good.
Spitfire Classics Formula Four. Those conical shapes that are very trendy right now look heavy and not very functional to me.
I skate all my boards with risers as I’m a big guy. I don’t care about bearings, I just want them to work. SKFs and the cheap ones usually do the job. Jessup and nothing else.
I only use the cruiser to go food shopping but pretty much skate all the other boards every week. They are different but I like how skating different boards makes me skate differently. For some reason the shaped boards seem more like toys to me and when I go for a skate on any of them I put less pressure on my shoulders and have mad fun. Maybe it’s just in my head.
Posting this made me feel like a kid which makes me happy. Yes.
Narrow boards make me happy
Can we have a close up of the crook groove on the 90’s board
oh. my. god.
#metoo
It’s better on the popsicle!
I always wanted to crooked grind my trucks down to the axle but they always snap before I manage to accomplish that! Oh well.
Holy fuck the precision on that.
This place is so MAS now
Two months ago it wouldn’t have even crossed my mind to get a weird shaped board and 56mm wheels.
But now…
You Michael Fabricants have made me old before my time.
