Such an awesome movie.
My god, I have just seen possibly the worst film ever made. Gods of Egypt.
To be fair it was just on in the background while I have been doing other stuff.
Fucking hell though, it looked like Attack of the clones if it lost 90% of itās animation budget.
Such a great film. Especially love the RZA bit. Have you seen Paterson? Thereās an amazing scene with Method Man.
I watched grave of the fireflies⦠once.
My missus came home as the end credits were rolling and she thought something terrible had happened. I was a fucking mess.
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING film that I never need to watch again.
Another studio ghibli cry-athon is The Tale of Princes Kaguya. Not quite as horrifying but still sad.
I think itās trying to teach you about regret and doing the right thing. But it just rips your heart out and stamps on it.
I cant even mention how it ends because itās so bizarre.
Missed āWidowsā first time around, watched last night and itās very good.
Yeah I heard it wasnāt all that so didnāt bother, it was great.
Just watched Red dot on Netflix. Was ok, very predictable.
I havenāt watched any films lately, could do with some recommendations.
Currently watching Judas and the Black Messiah. Seems good so farā¦
Just watching News of The World now with Tom Hanks. Itās pretty pedestrian but not in a bad way. A old guy/young girl bond on a road trip movie set in a Western.
Iām going to cry like a baby when Tom Hanks dies, heās been in some great roles and you know exactly what youāre getting.
On a Thomas vinterberg mish at the mo, watched Festen, the hunt and another round.
All seriously amazing.
Also filling in the Kurosawa banks Iād been missing: rashomon, Ran and red beard.
All great obvsss but red beard was so fucking mind blowing and easily in my film top 10. I donāt think Iād even heard of it before.
Its about 3 hours and I wanted it to last forever.
Just watched āI Care A Lotā on Prime.
Pretty good psychological thriller.
Yup enjoyed it.
But who am I rooting for!??
Rosamund Pike is a very weird person.
Iāve got that one lined up next.
Just finished Escape from Pretoria and I really enjoyed it.
Harry Potter did a pretty good job!
Yeah Escape from Pretoria was good. One of his better post-HP films.
Guns Akimbo was less goodā¦
Was just coming on to recommend this.
Crock of Gold: A few rounds with Shane MacGowan is on bbc 4 tonight at 10.
Not seen it yet but have heard itās good.
I watched Moxie last night on Netflix.
100% recommend to all you teenagers out there. ha ha.
I did enjoy it though. Mainly due to the Bikini Kill bits but fuck me, I felt old.
