There’s not many films I’ve watched in awe of how shit they were, but that was one of them.
Speaking of Spiderman, I watched The Impossible a few weeks ago, it’s about a family who get caught up in the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004. A young Tom Holland is excellent in it.
Tom Holland is just generally excellent IMO
Loved it. It was cheesy and terrible. Loved it.
Pedro Pascal’s character was hilarious.
Hadn’t seen him in anything else so it took a while for me to get past him as SpiderFoetus, but yeah, a compelling film otherwise. Watched it with my 8YO son, helped him understand how gnarly that whole disaster was.
Watched him and Daisy Ridley in Chaos Walking the other night, he was good in it, the film wasn’t to bad (I think Daisy can be a bit wooden in the Star Wars films) and had more plot twists than I was expecting and was just a good chill out, don’t have to think to hard kinda film, we all need now and again.
Couldn’t run where I wanted the other day because they’ve closed the sea front to turn it into a star wars set:
Is that for the obi wan kenobi thinger?
They won’t say but people seem to think it’s either that or one called Andor which is a Rogue One prequel.
Ah yeah the Diego Luna one.
Nice.
Biggest thing to happen to Cleveleys since someone crashed this massive ship onto the beach:
That was crazy, I remember going to the beach near me just afterwards and it was all covered in packets of chocolate digestives.
Yeah, I saw they’d built Leia’s ship from the beginning of New Hope, end of Rouge One… on a Star Wars insta the other day. Oooh, exciting. I think Kenobi will be filmed similar to The Mandalorian (TV budget), that looks film budget.
The picture I’ve posted? They’ve not done a lot, that cafe mostly looked like that anyway.
Yeah and I meant to have fully built the spaceship too.
Ah, yeah, that sounds pretty expensive.
Sounds fucking incredible
They were all ruined, it was a really shit version of Whisky Galore.
I liked this one.
