They’re pretty much the only fiction books I read and I only ever read them on holiday. They’re fun, silly and every so often one of the books has an intriguing mystery.
They’re basically westerns - lone man rides in to town, solves a mystery, breaks someone’s arm and then shags the hot cia agent sent to keep tabs on him
I thought the series was quite good fun, just utterly ridiculous. Why did they ever get Tom Cruise to play him in the films when he’s meant to be a comically large brick shithouse type.
For reasons not fully understood even by myself I just watched Interceptor on Netflix. I’ve never seen a whole Steven Segal film but I kind of imagine they’re like this . Anyway it’s finished and I’ll never think about it again. Profoundly stupid but passed 90 minutes amiably enough and that’s all there is to say about that.
Yeah reckon it’ll be shit but I like the fact they’ve tried to go somewhere a little bit different with it at least. Rather than army guys vs. Predator every time which was perfected with the first film
I think it looks like the most promising Predator film since Predator 2 (Which I like).
Predators was alright, wasn’t it? Probably should watch that again…
It definitely was nowhere near as bad as the AvP films, which were horrendous for both franchises.
They’re doing an alien series here in the UK soon. My Boss potentially has the prop making dept . Will be interesting to see where this goes script wise . Hope they don’t fuck it.
Watched The Hunt For Red October. Decent but takes a long time to get going and filled with massive plot holes. Might read the book to fill in the huge gaps.
