The way he battled back at Arsenal was so impressive to me (the threats against his wife and daughter being a particular low point) but it was that match vs France in Euro 2020 where he seemed go up a level, it was almost the perfect game.
So this move will be very odd if it happens.

Agyemang changed the game when she came on. Not just her last minute goal (situation reminded me of Watkins vs Netherlands), but her link up play and strength were exactly what we were missing and needed all game - hope she starts in the Final or at least has a bit longer to show her stuff. She came on as a sub and scored a late goal to take the game to ET against Sweden too.
Spain have looked absolutely ruthless all tournament, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a thrashing in the Final.

My heart says it’s tournament football and anything can happen, you just have to look at Englands last two games to see that. My head says Spain though (unless Germany can do an England upset tonight as well, it is tournament football after all, haha).

this is the beauty and horror of teams that do this. it becomes a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. like bloody real madrid. it will kind of be in both their heads that england can come back. so unless spain are ruthless and keep going… fuck it, I’ve talked myself into an england win

Seems suspect that he’s pushing once Arsenal and Liverpool have just made their signings.
My guess is he signs a bumper new deal with a favourable release clause then FO’s next summer.
