i’m with hugo, reckon Cersei/Jamie are going to pull some come back
there’s so many different standpoints to this whole thing. a lot of the character arcs have suddenly veered but in some ways it’s the only direction a lot of them could go without having some soppy disney ending. i think the only real criticism that is really valid is how quickly it’s all suddenly going but i guess it was either tie things up real fast or have another 3 seasons to drag it out
this episode felt a lot more like the books. everyone hurt. burning children etc.etc.

One comment I saw on video somewhere was good. It was basically like this:
change it so comical pirate didn’t kill that dragon last week (which was a total fucking joke then and even moreso when she wipes all their mega crossbows and ships out like its nothing with one dragon this week)
Have cersei pretend to submit. When the bells ring the golden company kill the other dragon and the lanister army start fighting. Danerys goes fucking apeshit and is nearly justified in mega genocide (but not really but kinda) .
You wouldn’t even need to change much to do that.
That would make more sense than this fucking wank they served up.

Nah fuck that guy. He may as well have been replaced by a load of boiled ham with pubes stuck to it. He was fucking shit. But then again so was his whole character.
At least quite a lot of the cast have come out publicly saying how botched the ending has been.
As for David Benihoff and D B Weiss they go on the boycott list along with Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindel. I’ll never touch anything they write ever again. Wankers.

It’s great until the very last episode.
Watched all of Dexter apart from the last two episodes. Unbelievable how it just suddenly went totally shit for the ending. Couldn’t face watching it.
I really loved Lost too, apart from the last couple of episodes. I didn’t mind that they were making it up as they went along, because they were pretty good at it. Seasons 4&5 were rad. But what a shite ending.
first few seasons of lost were groundbreaking. that first episode blew everyone away. the whole business with the hatch and everything, geez
it was quite clear they had no plan beyond one season and then just winged it tho.
last few episodes of dexter? come on, last few seasons were pretty dire.
after the lithgow one i was out.

John Lithgow was sooooo good in Dexter.
I can’t believe how good that episode of GOT was. I knew it was coming but I still started welling up when she started the slaughter after the bells. I had to keep reminding myself to breathe!
