Gone Skateboarding?

Fuck that. Rage, rage against the dying of the light, grow it out and go full Terry Nutkins.

Iv got fuck all else going for me apart from my hair. I wouldn’t know what to do if I lost my hair genuinely.

You’re probably right. I’m also thinking neatly trimmed facial hair. Like you’re doing it on purpose

Ive actually just trimmed my beard right down - makes the greying less noticeable. The longer the beard the older you look ( I just look odd now without any facial hair at all ) as turning 50 edges ever closer 33 days and counting.

It’s a trap! My bro has built his whole self around his hair and feels he’ll die once it tips over to ‘balding’.

I had long luscious hair in my teens, early twenties and I did ok out of it I guess but that didn’t define who I was. I cut it off because I won a haircut at a posh salon in a raffle so I looked like a skinny Toadfish for a couple of months. After that I could care less about my hair so it just became something I didn’t think about so going bald wasn’t an issue, I just took it off and that was that. Easy life, no worries, no vanity. ha.

I’ve been smashing the gym over the last year or so because my hairline is properly receeding. I’ve shaved it once before when I was young and skinny and my mate said I looked like Tom Hanks in Philadelphia. He was right too.

Literally training to be bald lol

What gym exercises do you do for being bald?

Ah it’s not my identity, I cut it all off at the weekend. It’s just the only thing I actually like about my face / head

I think the saying here is “I feel seen”.

This made me LOL massively.

Not had a roll since the end of November due to weather, time, work, lurgy etc but this little beastie should be ready very soon and only 5 mins away from me. Some other new bits being built at the existing park too.

Very nice, where is it?

Norwich. Half an hour from California.

Damn, that looks nice. Who built it? Never sure if steps in skatepark pools are worth it.

Couple of hours down ‘tlocal and a welcome visit from @KeithBeef :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::saluting_face:

Bit busy and then got quiet when it was time to leave

Betong and opus build. Reckon the steps were included as a health and safety control measure so if someone knackers themselves its a bit of an easier access. Reason why so many bowls built in this country are open ended. nice to see something a bit smaller in this pool style. I dubbed it the Poowl.

Couple of hours last night which was fun as the park was quiet after 8. Almost smashed my nose on the ledge, happy days.

Good skate, very sore, good fun. Not a Blue Monday, however Blue Monday and a few various other New Order and Joy Division tracks peppered the evening.

Very enjoyable.
