Doesn’t like facing questions, does he?
Is it recorded inside a fridge?

Protests going on out there as well:

Let’s throw this country in the bin. Fucking hell.

This is just dreadful.

Hell is other people: vol 3455359993553

That really is a dark turn.

Get back to work proles, but try not to use public transport!

So out and about as much as normal then?

No acknowledgement that people in construction or manufacturing might not Ben taking it in and not have access to a car.

We all know they’ll just take it as reopening and social distancing will be largely ignored. It’ll take no time for someone to record builders right near each other on their phone.

I’m not sure where everyone is getting confused, it seemed pretty clear to me, but I guess others have way more questions than I do.

A resounding “No, this is not the time to end lockdown” But if you need to work and are able to not be in contact with people then do so, You can go out for “exercise” any time but do not come in contact with other people, only the people you are already in close contact with (family) At no point did he say that anyone can be in contact with anyone other than the people they are already confined with.
No other info about easing was available because these things are not changing, There is no easing socially, you still have to stay away from others. If people adhere and the numbers drop then they have steps to look at easing but if they don’t drop or if they show signs of raising again then they will enforce stricter measures.

It’s in the hands of the people, if they take a different message away from this then that could be a problem, or it definitely will be… of course.
I presonally think that it needs to be harsher restrictions but I guess they are putting their trust in us.

The exercise part is fairly clear, the rest isn’t in my view. He said himself that they’re having discussions about how workplaces will be made safe, so it’s not clear yet on that side.

That stuff is not clear because it’s a can of worms and you can’t apply all actions to all business’. It needs carefull consideration.

Yeah, the only thing changing is that you have a little more freedom as long as you stay away from others. But yeah, the worst thing about this is the new slogan, that makes it confusing. They love a slogan, the cunts.

I guess if there wasn’t an answer to a question in that then nothing has changed or developed. That doesn’t help a good load of people though of course.
I don’t have any questions so That’s why it seemed clear to me. Others will probably feel even more in the dark. So it’s same as usual for now. He did say there will be finer points laid out in parliament tomorrow though.

Basically using builders as guinae pigs to see how many if them die or lose their jobs because they refuse to go to work. A little classic Dom experiment by the sound of it.

My job can be done from home. I hope it can stay that way until there’s an actual cure because that’s the only real way out this situation.

The rest of you…good luck. Xx

He mentioned harsher penalties for people breaking guidelines but also easing the guidelines might be encouraging people to break them anyway. Confused.

stop being confused! it was not encouraging people to break them, he said you can go out more regular as long as you stay away from people, if people take that as a green light to do whatever they want then that’s down to them, they will either get fined if caught or contract the virus, pass it on and cause the figures to rise then there will be harsher measures of lockdown enforced.
The government can’t be seen to be treating us all like idiots, they have to be seen to be trusted the people.

The builders haven’t stopped knocking down the old fire station to build a new one near mine at any point?

The slogan is a rebranding/repackaging of the phrase ‘stay at home’ basically. So it’s not in people’s faces all day still. The think tank that came up with that must of cost a ventilator or two and lots and lots of boxes of PPE kit. Money well spent.

Where are the people working in construction going to put their kids when forced back to work? Tether them to a pole with a bowl of water?
