Yeah man i wouldn’t do it. Government have put out they are not giving fines.
8 weeks and they will be on Holidays anyway. Just makes no sense to open schools.

I listened into my wife’s meeting with the head and they just can’t meet any of the guidelines and most of the guidelines break schooling laws anyway.

As much of a challenge as it is, I’m tempted to not have my 7yr old go anywhere near the place until I trust the situation.
As hard as that is on the household, I’d rather we remain in good health and get on eachothers tits a bit to him bringing something into the home that could have been avoided.

Thats just it, We are not allowed to mingle, yet a whole school of kids can*, then come home. Stuff that!

*good luck getting kids to social distance

Yeah, our daughter is in year 1, meaning that she would be part of the intial experiment. Fuck off.

Oh yeah, Its actually only Government legislation for reception class to be first, they fucked that one up.

Thats how bent it all is. I haven’t got the exact wording but basically if your house hold is high risk, they are still expected in… get fucked!

They definitely scrambled this whole thing together. It will all change as it un folds.

Like, are companies insured to have people in? Are insurers covering offices now? How would they know your office is “Covid safe”?

Its fucked

Yeah exactly. Two words the government seem to have forgotten. Spent more time on the new slogan branding

This piece that I think I found on there is really good too.

Some good case studies. We need more of this sort of thing. “Covid secure workplaces” my arse.

they’re obviously just waiting for the backlash from the front page of the telegraph before scrapping a lot of this but still, absolutely nuts if they crack on with some of this

Freezing the wages of nurses etc. to pay for the furlough scheme when they’ve been working all the way through. Let’s see how that goes.

They’ve been after scrapping the triple lock on pensions for some time too.
They’re using this as an excuse for a few things.

Jeeeeez

Seems like the right outcome but I always wonder about the people actually sending that kind of material, what unbelievable scum they must be.

You lot are tame in comparison

That law suit is a fucking joke. Your job is to remove horrible shit, then you sue for seeing horrible shit.

Do the police sue because they saw a stabbed teenager die in their arms?

I don’t think so, the moderators knew they would see awful stuff, yes, but Facebook did not provide adequate support to help them mentally.

Easy, they will just emphasise everyone else but the nurses.

"Scola developed PTSD after working at the job for nine months. Others found their political views were pushed further right or said they became addicted to extreme content.

A 2019 report from the Verge found workers were paid as little as $28,800 per year, watching thousands of horrific videos each day with very little mental health support."

Horrible.
