Except the black vote is actively suppressed in the US. I mean right now it seems they’re doing their best to suppress voters all over the place. The next election is going to be hella sketchy

I think someone else might be about to go too… how much scandal can the government take over one person?

It’s going to be interesting isn’t it

Won’t happen. Even if he loses, which he won’t (fairly or unfairly) there’s no way he’s leaving peacefully. He knows he’s fucked when he’s not president any more.

And all his cunty mates

If he loses. He may have 6 months of shit talk. Then a book, maybe a self funded film. He may pipe up offering his stellar presidential experience to diffuse a tension or so but you can choose to ignore that. I will be I can assure you

If he’s not president he will be sued to shit for the rest of his life and his accounts will be investigated. His books are closed at the moment because “president” and he can’t be charged with any crimes while in office.

… aaand that’s enough of this thread for today.

I thought it seemed a strange thing to do knowing that there are people filming everywhere.

George Floyd was murdered while two people filmed.

To be fair, if you just rolled up and only saw that bit, with what happened, like build said, you would definitely think somethings up, I would of!

This is a very good podcast about how sporting events like football matches and the Cheltenham races were being held towards the start of the outbreak here. There really does need to be an enquiry over how the whole situation was handled. A lot of people seem to have an astonishing amount of faith with the government. It baffles me.

The direct links between cabinet ministers and senior people in the horse racing industry led them to allow Cheltenham to go ahead. They didn’t want their mates’ event To be damaged so let it go ahead. So fucked.

After everybody saying how well Sweden had done, and how we should try to be more like them, they’re now up to the highest death toll per capita in the world.

Who was saying how well they’d done? I thought everyone thought they were a bit mad going with that strategy

'But Sweden… ’ has been the standard gammon response for ages when talking about the merits of the lockdown. Turns out they were wrong the whole time. Amazing that.

The infection/death rates in their neighbouring Nordic countries who all had similar strict lockdowns to here were far less, I think 8-10 times, than that of Sweden.
