Nope, look at Boris’s majority last election, we really don’t want him back. Posh people love him and the working class want a pint with him and some housewives even swoon at the very thought of a quickie with his Johnson. Boris’s ego can’t handle the fact he was pushed out… he wants to come back for his ego alone.

The internet is too quick! :joy:

I’m confident that another leadership contest will sort the rifts in the Tory party once and for all.

Edit. Lol. Like this.

I’m at the feeling physically sick stage of hearing Boris shitting fuckhead has a good shot at becoming PM again.

Next will be white hot rage i guess.

The Tories need to be shamed into having a general election, they’ve bowed to public pressure countless times in the last few years so you’d think it’s possible.

If people don’t hit the streets I’ll lose that last tiny little shred of respect I have for the UK.

It’s already started. Young Tory on five live hearing a list of about 10 scandals involving BJ and he responds with ‘yeah but none of those are facts though are they?’

Britains Trump. My blood pressure will not cope

If only they’d listened to Taylor Swift all this might. have been avoidable

Truss really does have the “I wasn’t one of the popular girls in sixth form, but i’ll show them” energy about her

Might be worth getting a monitor. They’re about £40 from the chemist :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

there was that lady who phoned up LBC yesterday to talk about how her “local government” was Labour and how awful and corrupt they were. she then went on to say that Boris should come back because he wasn’t given a fair chance

these people live in an alternative dimension. confidently wrong doesn’t even sum it up

Utter denial and acceptance of their decisions to vote for this chaos has self brainwashed many of these people.

The day they have to face the chaos they voted for, would make them implode with guilt , way too much for their tiny fragile minds to cope with .

He’s going to do it isnt he? He’s going to come back and deranged, porridge brained morons are going to lap it all up and think he’s the fucking messiah. I can’t cope.

Going to listen to some rocksteady on spotify and try and get some nice thoughts for a bit.

Jesus fucking christ.

Whenever there is going to be a vote on something then the worst thing wins. That’s just how it is and the sooner you grow up and accept that the better.

…OR…how about this. I move to Canada? How do I move to Canada? Seems like a nice place.

I think it’s absolutely mortifying that you can buy a vote (for £25) for who will be next PM if you join the conservative party. I imagine this is collectively less than numerous social media ad campaigns (also - not monitored or policed). So if you were Russian and wanting to subvert the vote you could, in theory, just buy up a load of memberships AND you could probably calculate how many you’d need beforehand to ensure you got the candidate you wanted. It’s a perfect setup.

Australia went the other way last election. They rejected full trumpism. It can happen.

It won’t though.

Come here.

Usually, you have to have been a member of the party for 3 months before you can vote in the leadership election. Although, given the chaos of the last few months, I’m sure plenty of people joined in the last year and are now eligible should this vote go to the membership.
