Haha rad! Also with the famous Andy Warhol - Velvet Underground album cover being such a part of modern pop culture helps it play into peoples minds as well.

This banana artwork scam has got Captain Tom’s suspiciously young daughter’s grubby mitts all over it.

This photo print sold for $4.3million, to some it’s a bland end of roll holiday snap, to others it’s the perfect example of the rule of thirds. Art and beauty are in the eye of the beholder. It’s even been photoshopped to remove any distractions too.

“Good” by your terms? It’s OK to not like things that other people like, and if people think that art that you hate is good, it doesn’t mean they’re wrong it just means that some people like different things to you.

Nope, it’s my way or the highway!

I really like that photo.

It’s also exactly the kind of photo I take on a walk and post to insta stories

If it was just painted lines in those exact tones, I think it would do more for me but yeah if you forget the subject and look at composition, it’s nice.

Don’t get you point on this one sorry.

That’s OK. Some people thought that album pushed boundaries but it was actually a yawn idea that should have stayed as a joke to be forgotten about.

it was yep

When the horizon’s at the bottom, it’s interesting.
When the horizon’s at the top, it’s interesting.
When the horizon’s in the middle, it’s boring as shit.
When the banana is taped to the canvas, i’m not sure.

I must have had that album about 20 years before I actually looked properly at the cover and realised how good it is

Edit: I also must have listened to it for 20 years, then took a few years off, then put it on again and realised just how good an album it is

Yeah! It was a long time before I noticed that it wasn’t just a blue cover with a white bit at the top.

Basically I looked but didn’t see, and listened but didn’t hear. I love weed, me.

They’ve described it as a featureless landscape but there are clearly manmade landscape features within the picture.

Yeah this is the original:

Ok I’m bored at work, sorry

Back to Linda McMahon, a wrestling federation multimillionaire seems like an odd choice of education secretary to me but what do I know? I’m currently reading a book by Harlan Coben in which he says

“Pro wrestling is never about the wrestling. It’s about the plot and the characters. It’s a morality play, almost biblical in its storytelling.”
