In the uk, whatever the government does gets a permanent running commentary from the opposition including stuff like PMQs. It all gets reported. Is there nothing like that in America? Like when the Dems lose, do they just go home for a couple of years til it’s time to start thinking about the next election? There doesn’t seem to be anybody saying much against Trump over there or at least not in a way that’s registering much.
You just know that if Trump was in opposition (out of office) and it was Dems doing all this madness with Putin, he’d have weaponised #PutinsPoodle into hats, memes, etc and be nailing the Dems for doing it. But it’s him doing it and the other side don’t seem to bother. Are the tech bros just blocking out any noise against him?
Kind of seems that way. Trump hasn’t been at the helm of the republicans for the last four years watching over government stuff and running it that end. They just seem to have a load of mini-party elections in the run up to the actual election that pick who will run against the current president as far as I can see?
