I like her skating. Nerdy Dan Drehobl conversations await.
This is good.

Living Proof really killing it right now. It’s one thing to get the interesting people, and another thing all together to be asking them the right questions.

Both things The Nine Club seem incapable to do.

In most interviews with Gino that I’ve seen or heard he’s either mumbled his way through without really saying anything or he’s come across as guarded and unwilling to give much away but he seems a lot more open, straight up and relaxed in this one. Not saying there are any earth shattering revelations but it’s a good watch.

Another example of a non-skate channel making much better stuff than any of the actual skate outlets.

He does seem more open. And how awkward must it be to be asked how he processes the whole ‘you are a style icon/legend’ thing. Interviewer is ok as well.

I’ve had a bunch of shit to get done around the house today. I thought I’d take the opportunity as it’s too wet on the ground to skate and there’s no surf either. Been chomping through interviews as I go.

Grant Brittain on, of all things, an Italian surf podcast. I like Grant, he’s good people.

Latest episode is another Steve Olson interview. I can’t help but chuckle along with Olson. There’re quite a few smile inducing moments in this.

Takahiro Morita, the dude behind FESN, is the latest guest on the Björn Borg podcast.

Just about to stick on the Manzoori Nine Club episode… gritting my teeth and hoping for the best.

It’s worth listening to as it’s Mike. I was hoping there’d be some Curtis chat, and he did bring him up, but obviously those dolts didn’t follow up with any questions.

Loved that. I can understand how after that long on Nike why anyone would want to wear unbranded shoes for a bit. It was really good to hear him talk about how his life has turned around over the last few years and how that’s made him reassess his approach to things.

This good - KRS One talks about fashion, graf, DJ Flowers, baggy pants etc

Slow start but it gets pretty good after the bit at the flea market. I love how he grew up in the LA area and could be jaded about a lot of things but is so into skate tourism and all that. True skate rat.

Flea market was the best bit.

Thought it was a bit long, or maybe I was just jealous and wished I was at a flea market in California.

More Gino, on sobriety

Not watched, but this could be great and/or hideous judging by the thumbnail.

Braydon interview was terrible, proper washed up vibes and just waffled on. Living Proof usually smash it but this was a miss from the interviewer too
