I had a little look a while back out of curiosity and I think I found shit looking ones for about 4k. I can’t imagine getting one of those into your garden would be any fun.
I built my mate a music studio/rehearsal room in his garden earlier in the summer. He’s got quite a bit of kit and loves his death metal so screaming guitars had to be factored in.
There’s no windows at all and super sound insulated walls, roof etc and double double glazed doors.
The walls are about 200mm thick with various layers of cladding, acoustic mass loaded vinyl, acoustic rock wool and 2 layers of DB plasterboard.
It works incredibly well , you can still hear it but super low level outside like someone has a stereo on, but once you open the door it’s like a fucking concert.
Took way longer than it should have due to country wide supply problems.
Pretty chuffed with it as I did everything on my own except the roof felting and have never built anything like this before. I’ve done similar TV/film build but they are temporary, mostly fake and held together with a few screws.
Cost about £6k in materials.

Obviously that’s blockwork with footings but I didn’t need planning, it was just under the size that needed it. I spent 10K altogether but I got the mixing console and my monitors in that, 1k of acoustic foam, Double layers of acoustic plasterboard and soundproofing greenglue and a million things that you probably won’t need so I reckon if it was more standard it would have been 5-6k
I can play music so fucking loud or the drums and you can only just hear a slight rumble or a faint crack of the snare when you’re right next to the building, when your down the garden nearer the house you can’t hear a thing.

perfect temp all the time now I have an infrared heater. Summer, it’s just a nice cool ambient room.

You built that yourself? Amazing effort. Shame you never got round to that concrete geodesic some you wanted to do, but that’s still wicked. Did you say you were going to have to sell up due to your split? Gutting if so.

Yeah most of it, only things I didn’t do were digging footings, most of the block laying and putting the felt on the roof. Oh and connecting the electrics properly.
Wife is processing the divorce proposal right now but i’m going to contest whatever it says. Thing is, i’m self employed, single, higher risk for a mortgage so if I try and remortgage just so she can get her money out of the house to buy a new one for her, I may lose mine and have to rent. No way i’ll let that happen.

If you have a wet room you can get a steam room conversion kit/ attachments. Beats a sauna if you don’t have the sea or a pool to jump in afterwards.
No-one over here needs an outdoor sex bath. No-one. If you’re in the middle of nowhere looking out over some amazing view perhaps but adults sitting in a hot tub in their suburban garden 3m away from their neighbours is weird as fuck. Even weirder when you invite your mates in. Its not like you’d go round their house and say “I’ve got a beer, want to get in the bath?” so I don’t get why its acceptable because its outside
