I kinda thought Tool would be the sort of band who cared about how their music sounded, but seemingly not.
I find Tool have parallels with Boards of Canada when it come to fanaticism. So I can definitely relate, even though I am still not one of them completely. Aphex twin fans too but they are way more confrontationally savvy.

Thinking of getting one of these. Anyone have much experience with these digital DJ controllers? I’m much more comfortable with vinyl but fancy trying this out. I’ve used Serato which is pretty amazing but not sure I want to get a laptop just for that

Heard the first track that they put up the other week. exactly what I expected so don’t need to hear the album.
(not a tool fan but always interested to hear because they are obv highly rated)

Recent discovery. Been sleeping too hard.
Saw them live a while back based purely on a mate’s recommendation not having heard them before. They were excellent.
+1 for Protomartyr being incredible live.
Crazy how little political music there is right now. Maybe nobody wants to offend the other side.
New Bombay Bicycle club sounds quite nice. Probably the only normie type indie bands of the past 10+ years that ever had something about them.
