Funky Technicians “Airtight” (Total Science Remix) is a classic atmospheric jungle track originally released around 30 years ago on Legend Records and featured on LTJ Bukem’s Logical Progression mix. Produced during the golden era of drum & bass, the track features dreamy pads, emotive melodies and rolling jungle breaks. Now released digitally for the first time on CIA Records, introducing a new generation to a timeless piece of atmospheric drum & bass history.
Being wanting to Direct a Black Metal music vid since I began working as a Director and finally my mate asked me to do one!
So for shameless promotion here it is! The tune is sick and the main actor is the skate Matty Smith-Ride!
That’s decent! How evil are they in real life?
It’s actually just my mate, he plays all the instruments and does the vocals!
He’s a very nice guy, so I’d say not very evil at all hahah
Potentially a new Boards of Canada ARG starting up. Still could be fake but this one does seem a step up from those. And this is coming from someone who is a culprit.
I feel the same way currently about rumours of a new Sisters of Mercy album. I mean, at this point, Andrew Eldritch is a bit of a caricature, but I still can’t quit him.
disappears into dry ice
This really made me chuckle. Can totally picture it.
Old BOC interview has had paywall removed…
the detail right at the bottom of the page is interesting. “Don’t call it a comeback” and a happy face.
and the discography list too. There has been talk of a boxset of old material for years and half confirmations from connections saying it will happen at some point. Maybe now? And the new poster artwork that is all around now looking like new album vibes.
That’s just at the bottom of every page of that site, not specifically the Boards interview
(yeah yeah I know, Jack Whitehall yada yada)
Ah, fair enough.
The BoC website just updated
Boards of Canada is actually an anagram of ‘boring and overrated’
insert change my mind meme
Horses for courses. As much as I love Aphex I think he’s way more overated.
