Just wanted to say thanks fopr the suggestion!

Received the CD + vinyl, so I’m giving it a whirl now.

Total gold. The first two albums are great - and then there is a live album which follows that up called Blow’n Chunks which is well worth checking out.

Did you see them last year (don’t say it was actually five years ago or something)?

Nada. I’ve sucked at going to gigs in the past two years or so…

Ha! That’s fair enough.

aye my vinyl came yesterday too, cheers for the tip jimvo

damn just read this interview with the guy who runs that label - http://thewordmagazine.com/music/mais-ouais-the-baffling-story-of-the-brussels-based-label-unheard-of-to-local-audiences-save-for-the-enlightened-few-that-went-on-to-release-some-of-the-most-daring-electronic-music-to-be-found/

'The Zorg record was the beginning of a whole series of collaborations with British folk who were somehow related to Rephlex: Global Goon aka Syntheme, Bill Corey, Ceephax, Cylob, Jodey Kendrick, his wife Heidi Lord and many more. “I’m especially fond of Heidi’s release,” Frederic confides, whilst making his way to his record cabinet. “There’s a sad story behind it, one that I feel I have to share, because it’s a really important record for me. Heidi passed away from brain cancer last year. The purple mask you see on the album cover is the mask she had to wear during radiation sessions, in order not to be burned. The whole album is based on sounds she heard in those machines in the hospital.” The record didn’t sell at all, which saddens Frederic. “A little bit, because it’s really important that people listen to this record.”

No worries, what do you reckon? And perv

I love the way he skates. Somebody should film him and make a video part, he’s so unique.

New Laura Marling album is so beautiful.

Yes so good. She did an at home tiny desk, which is great.

I liked her older albums but the new one is an instant classic. It’s like an old Joni album.

She did a bunch of guitar lessons recently online so been learning some of her songs and getting my finger picking on:

Nice one!

My fav Laura Marling song is only 1:17 long and is called ‘Crawled Out of The Sea’.

Love it! A lot of the sounds are very sinister in parts as well, I thought anyways.
