So I got it from PMT mates recommendation was £100. After opening the box they have sent me the £250 electric acoustic version.

Ace. The strings may not have been put on with that much care so best thing to do is pull them off the fretboard with some gentle tugs, that will tighten the string better around the machine head/tuning peg. Then re tune. Will stay in tune way better afterwards.

Many have built in tuners, really handy.

I can see the obvious reason that you wouldn’t but also imagine there’s a sense of guilt.
Mum bought a pool table once.
What she ordered and what she got delivered did not match up and she ended up with a much snazzier one, she kept it and said nothing.
I’d go with this, if it’s a large centre, probably keep it, if it’s a smaller independent store, I’d consider telling them. They might appreciate the honesty and sort you out with something by way of thanks.

I’d agree with what Mush says, although it’s up to you, they aren’t going to go bust and even if you fess up then whoever made the mistake will probably still get the same bollocking anyway.
Have fun with it, I started just after this lockdown came along. Best thing I’ve done in years, really enjoying it. Just learning from YouTube pretty much, there’s so much stuff on there. Been enjoying this channel for the beginner course and also some decent tunes to play:
PMT are pretty big. It might have been a mistake, might have sent it as the other was not available, this one might be better but if it’s intentional it would probably be B stock (return or display)
If it was me i’d mention it and see what they said, they might explain why they sent it or might need it back. I think if it’s not a great deal more they’d let it off as they’d have to pay to get it back and send out another.
It’s not an independent, online and physical chain store.
That was my thought process. It was my mate who noticed, I just thought it was a different colour at first.

Been making loads of techno type stuff recently. It’s not what I’m normally that into but I got a bit obsessed, I think I’ll leave it for a bit now, burned myself out on constant fucking 909 kicks. Takes my mind off the news anyway.

I picked up G-Stomper Producer for Android t’other day, free in the Google Store (usually 12 quid or something).
Seems pretty powerful, not the most intuitive but these things rarely are. I’ve only played with the drum and synth modules so far but they seem reasonably robust.
edit looks like it might be full price again, should have posted sooner.
