Music thread

I stumbled across that a few months ago, it’s quite a thing isn’t it. Not sure I would want to listen to all of it. Just reading the descriptions of each phase of dementia and hearing bits was enough for me.

It didn’t originally come out all at once, so it made sense to listen to one for a while, then the next one and so on. All at once is a bit much, although it’s absolutely brilliant.

This is similar but different; it’s music that deteriorates and gets less and less pleasant without you realising.

this is the video i watched about it.

It’s a great concept and piece of work, Kinda cool that it’s becoming a thing even if it’s being taken on by needy online folk just wanting to use it for content. It’s good for Awareness. Dementia has to be one of the scariest things about growing older.

this one came on shuffle at work the other day

all just incredibly beautiful music, buzzing to own all 6 records

90% good but there’s certainly some pretty wank bits on the new album i must say

actressy but with 10x more breathy vocals is the general vibe apart from the tune called save which sounds like the soundtrack to a video game based in victorian england

Never really got into him before, liked most of the album really, vocals less so

Maybe should have election-themed stuff in other threads.

One for the vinyl heads…

Seen him once was cool.

That’s rad, thought he was a pub band sort of fella who had one tune do well on 6Music.

His Crass covers album pushed him into the mainstream, I think. As bizarre as that sounds. And as bizarre as the album sounds.
