Cheers, I’ve got that on now.
I’m liking this list - am aware of but not massively familiar with Kurt Vile & Modest Mouse.
Can’t wait for Spidey to be shuffled up.
Cheers.
This seems about right I usually just bung on whatever and let DJ spotify do it’s stuff.
How many minutes is everyone clocking up, I did 38,753 minutes which it turns out is quite a bit.
Sounds ace. The usual places are letting me down though, so I’ll do some digging later.
No Spidey yet, but I do have a sudden pang for classic H-Street.
Yeah, that took me right by surprise, just popped up in my Discover weekly playlist one time.
I used to sell computer parts and video games to the Ragga Twins, randomly. Nice blokes.
Are they still bout?
Lol dey bout.
Potentially the worst thing I’ve ever heard in my life.
@jamjar late on the 100 Gecs thing - my 13 year old daughter said she liked them too, i checked them out (1 song at least) and had to have a word with her… she clarified she only likes them ironically but not sure i believe her. basically she likes whatever music is on tic toc that week. was fleetwood mac last month, then gorillaz, cant remember who it is this week…i cant get my head round how young people engage with music these days haha
@buildafire my best gig of 2019 was DJing with Ragga Twins, they were MCing for the jungle DJ after me but i got a handover of a few tunes, got them on some dancehall riddims and then played a couple of the rave 12s ‘hooligan 69’ and ‘spliffhead’ and they MCd live over that… both of them well safe.
sad news that another great reggae singer has passed - Albert Griffiths of The Gladiators - RIP. such a great voice. they were not that well known compared to others but had so many amazing roots tunes - this is my favourite, everything about this song just hits the right spot for me
You never heard this?
Half my daughter’s playlist is ironic. She’s got Insane Clown Posse on there. She also listens un-ironically to Throbbing Gristle and Funeral Mist so it’s not all bad.
