Greco’s been on and off corny during his time (I think 2024 Greco is the raddest Greco ever) but most of the criticism of him seems to come from the idea that a person can’t change what they’re into. Dude has been a pro skateboarder for more than half his life (idk probably) and been in the van since he was a little kid, so he didn’t have a chance to get into all this different stuff when he was a teenager. Big up Jim Greco for going with what he likes and not still dressing like 2001 Jim Greco.

I dislike him because of the untrammelled hubris of Vincent Gallo Greco and because of that shite he came out with about how hard it was ‘doing the same thing everyday’ by which he meant being paid a load of money to do whatever he wants.
I understand that this is who he is and that he hero worships Jeremy Klein who is the same but honestly, fuck off Jim.
Disclaimer: I really enjoy his footage but I think he’s an absolute self obsessed tit.

If you don’t have any dependents it’s easy to sound like a narcissistic unaware arsehole when talking about life. Anyone who has a family understands that sometimes you have to do shit you don’t enjoy to keep food on the table.
Greco is a mass of contradictions and he’s no guru but he’s a fascinating and really creative individual. I like him.

I’d probably want to slap Greco (or simply go skating on my own) if I hung with him for 10 minutes but I really like him as I see his whole life/career/personae as entertainment and nothing else. Oh and he’s legit forever for the nollie backside flip down the Wilshire set in BKR2G alone.

I love Greco footage, but yeah…can imagine that 9 seconds with him would be the worst 9 seconds.
Funny that he’s a co owner of Deathwish but off the team/doing ‘Hammers’ brand on his own, as the only rider. I guess it serves the ego.

I cannot imagine how zany the relationship between some of that OG crew must be.
