Not Stoked.

Someone buy one and do an unboxing and wear test.

Reckon it’s back-doored from the factories?

I think it could be as $32 isn’t exactly cheap for Ali Express.

A fake carbon bike is about 10% the cost of a real one but it’s definitely dodgy quality.

Some of those actual skateboards will be made in china right?

I fail to see how the fake toy machine decks could be worse quality than the recent toy machine price point decks

Girl boards are made in China so quite possible they are from same factory.

Wouldn’t surprise me, if Nike and Adidas factories are allegedly pushing stuff out the back, I bet skateboards are too

I reckon so

Fucking Hermes…

Say no more.

Not had much dealing with UPS but how anyone would choose to use Hermes is beyond me. I wouldn’t use them if they were free. Utter shit every time.

Never had bother with UPS, other than the delivery being announced and then changed to the next day, but I reckon that’s more to do with the people shipping it booking it on too early.

Hermes though, fucking hell. If something I want to buy says it’ll be delivered by Hermes I usually don’t bother. Seems anybody can be a Hermes ‘delivery’ driver, and I guess they entire company is populated the same way.

Same here. Fuck Hermes full stop.

Same as you build! In that if something says it is shipped Hermes I usually dont bother. I have bought a lot of crimbo presents this year on ebay so havent been checking the courier they use as much but everything that has come Hermes has either disappeared or returned to the seller as ‘failed to deliver’ even though I have had nobody knocking or any cards through the door. Utter bollocks.

Anyone got a recommendation for a courier to ship a bike across London? It’s in a box. Had booked Hermes but they didn’t pick up two days running. I just got a message saying they tried to collect and couldn’t.

Thanks. ParcelForce is £40 but I’d rather it went directly.

Probably would but I’ll try Addison Lee first on Monday. I would just drive it myself but I’m still knackered from Covid.

I’ve had more than a few packages from Hermes dropped of at collection points which wouldn’t bother me had I not been at sat home all day waiting for them.

On one occasion I watched a driver screech to a halt outside my house run out and shove a collection card through my letterbox, I’d got to my door quick enough to see him jump back in his van, he looked me in the eye as I was at stood on my doorstep holding the card in the air asking WTF? And he tore off. I ended up jumping in my car trying to follow him but so I went straight to the collection point at Comet or Halfords where I was informed that said package had been there all morning. Insult to injury, they wanted photo ID and I didn’t have it on me, despite having umpteen bank cards with my name on and a payslip with my address on it. And when you finally produce it its met with a cursory glance.

Hermes are utter shit.

For customer convenience DPD are miles ahead. Can redirect packages with the app or get them sent to parcel locker here, everyone wins.

In Estonia you hardly ever get home deliveries (only TNT, also shit) mostly they get sent straight to parcel locker or post office and you go collect whenever you’re ready. They SMS you as well as stick a bit of paper through the door.
