I’ve tried every possible thing to squirm out of going to mine. I’ve got it to the point where I have to show my face but can leave early.
Isn’t it time for the annual Christmas Party thread hijack where the majority confirm they are anti social misanthropes and a vocal minority (probably those under 35 spring chickens) tell us off for being old and boring?

Ours got moved to the office. Don’t mind it’s closer to my house.
My excuse is I never get any time for the pub as it is with young kids plus covid doesn’t make it an attractive thing any more. If I was going to the pub, it’d be with the friends I haven’t seen properly for two years, not Trevor from Accounts

I’ve given up going to the office now, twice in the last week I’ve gone in specifically for meetings/workshops and people haven’t shown up because they’re self isolating or they forgot it was meant to be in person. So I now refuse to do any in person meetings as it just costs me money for no reason. I’m extending that to any Christmas festivities too. Shame, because I love a good party.

I’d be up for a work Christmas party as I’ve not exactly socialised massively this year but obviously it doesn’t seem like a good idea and most seem to be getting cancelled now.
You can go to my Christmas party on the 18th at Globe Arena if you want mate… I can’t be fucked and want to continue the sober spree.

I remember trying winalot biscuits when I was a kid. Quite liked it.

I’m only asking because it’s quite likely that the wet food is better quality than a lot of “human food”

I realise I was just talking about how dog food can be alright so perhaps my opinion is off here but what’s so bad about fray bentos? Its a cut above spam at least
