Not Stoked.

Got woken up at 2:45am for a work alert after going to bed at 1am.

It’s now 6:40am and I am fucked.

Love me a Fray Bentos pie. Sloppy pastry, and a years supply of salt in one dish. Perfect with overcooked oven chips and ketchup.

It’s a place in Uruguay.

Tried to check in to my flight to london. 10 mins too late to do it online. 55 quid charge to check in at the airport. Fuck you ryanair

had my fucking windows put out this evening, police wont come until tomorrow

fucking brilliant

What? How? A brick through the window?

couldn’t tell you, from the looks of it it’s been hit with something that they’ve taken with them since nothing was left behind. it’s a 3 panel window, 2 of those and the glass in the front door got smashed.

Ah fuck, yeah police are super shite when it comes to car crime. Ask if anyone in your street has cctv or those doorbell cameras. It might of caught something? Even the people just walking down the street if you know about what time it was?

nah was the house not car, asked about and there’s one fella with cctv but his didn’t pick anything up so i’m assuming they came from the top of the street and went back that way. pretty much the reason why the police didn’t come as there’s no “line of inquiry”. gonna go out in the morning and see if anyone around the corner has cameras. i was in when it happened so i know the time, i got outside in about 10 seconds and they were gone.

currently operating under the assumption it was mistaken identity, as there’s a guy the next street over with the same house number who got outed as a pedo about a week ago and is currently on bail living there. no actual proof that’s the reason of it, but we’ve lived here 20 years and never had a problem with anyone.

I thought that then thought no, the police would come out for a house window, right? Anyone could of been stood by the window and hurt, worse, thankfully not. That is shocking. It might be kids messing about and it’s gone wrong probably? Hope you get it sorted and find some footage but yeah it sounds like the guy you mentioned. Still not good if they think it’s your house.

That’s what I would’ve thought too but no, they asked if I’d seen anything (which I hadn’t), if we or the neighbours have CCTV (which to the best of my knowledge none bar the guy I mentioned earlier do), and then said that even though it’s just happened there’s no line of inquiry or anything for them to go off so nobody would be sent out, and the best they can do would be an appointment tomorrow to catalogue it.

People coming back is precisely my fear and as it stands now I’ve just brewed up some coffee as even if I wanted to I probably wont be sleeping tonight. Got a guy coming in the morning to measure up and hopefully be fitted same day so atleast it’ll be sorted ASAP.
