Not Stoked.

We’re talking about this because @BDF said skating isn’t exercise. I didn’t say it was a better exercise than anything you listed, I just said it was a decent cardio

The difference between skating and anything you listed is that skating is actually fun instead mind numbingly boring or just a glorified way of getting from A to B

You guys need to skate a pump track. I’ve never felt so worked over in my life. Proper work out.

For me the best exercise is stuff that you enjoy doing, so skating wins every time.

Also, I find it helpful to try and fit incidental excercise into my day. So, I avoid using the car as much as possible, and set off late when walking or cycling somewhere so that I have to get a shift on.

Works for me, but I imagine none of this is a good as a proper fitness regime, but that ain’t going to happen.

Any sport can be so easy you barely break a sweat or full-on and intense. A knock-about at your local tennis court is different to 5 sets at Wimbledon but they’re both tennis. From experience I’d say that when skating involves sustained pushing or pumping it’s a major workout.

It’s different when you’re in your sixties though, compared to your thirties.

Hahaha dying m.

I’ll ask Roncalow. How old are you, mate? Sixties, thirties or somewhere in between?

Pump tracks are cool. Great for warming up, plus after 3 laps you feel so many muscles in your legs and you didn’t even know half of those existed.

Pretty sure you calling someone their friend on here is libel.

My elderly (16 yo) cat has pissed on the new hallway rug twice since it was purchased on Sunday. Annoyed but he’d old and grouchy. And he pisses in the living room if given access.

I’m sure he does it as revenge for us having children. Or not sorting out a cat flap. Could possibly be that. But I reckon he’d just piss on the carpets anyway.

We have a twatty cat that won’t use the cat flap unless I hold it open for her. Won’t come back in via the cat flap and scratches at the door to get in. She will piss in the house given half a chance. So you have to watch for the signs and put her out when you she she is due one

What do cat owners get out of owning a cat? Genuine question, not a piss take. My neighbourhood Facebook pages are just the same four families asking everyone else if they’ve seen their missing cats once a week followed by reunion photos. Our dog follows us round like a shadow and hasn’t soiled the house since she was a pup. What am I missing?

Im a fan of my two. They sit on you and let you stroke em and you dont have to exercise them. The slight cost of that is occasional floor pisses.

Theyre basically smarter/more arseholeish dogs for people that dont want to walk as often

This is probably where it went wrong for me, all the cats I met as a kid just scratched fuck out my legs whenever they got anywhere near me and I tried to pick them up off my lap

Having a pet that doesn’t need a walk twice a day or soils public highways.

But the walk is fresh air and exercise for me. And I haven’t got to put posters up on lamp posts to find out where he/she has run off to.
Where is it cats shit if not outside?
