That’s how I do it. Quickly cook the outside in the frying pan. In the slow cooker with some veg, stock and wine. Then do your roast potatoes later add the veg from the slog cooker roast the joint for last 20mins. Use the juice from the slow cooker to make a banging gravy

I did come here to post a “Not Stoked” story from last night about forgetting my keys and spending 4 hours on various trains between Bournemouth and Southampton trying to find someone who was awake, and would let me on a sofa so I didn’t have to spend the night on the street in a t shirt and Harrington freezing my arse off…
But all this oven talk has brightened my day TBH, 10/10 would read again…

For sure. Sadly it’s the “Cheer up and have a drink” approach to treatment/acceptance in that generation around here that’ll be hard to shake.

Seinfeld has just been taken off Amazon Prime.
Me and the boy have been rinsing it pre bedtime since before Christmas. I feel lost without it.
I have every episode on my tablet on a micro sd card. I think it’s over 20GB.
Any suggestions on how I can transfer it over to you all?
Some of them are a bit janky because they got taped from TV and I think they have hardcoded subtitles on every episode but they do the job.
You can torrent them in 720p as well

Filling fell out about a year and a half ago and stupidly I didn’t get it sorted, it’s took this long for it to kick off.
Not got an appointment until Tues so this weekend will be fun. Painkillers not touching it.

found yet another person in my company who is a climate change denier. i don’t know what it is about the tech industry and this crap (and other conspiracy theories). we seem to attract weirdo’s. this one upsets me because he’s actually a good friend
what (tech) industry you work in?
Find it hard to believe that a tech industry who are by definition usually built on facts and data can foster people who think like that
i’m specifically web hosting, but it’s techs across a broad spectrum. we seem to have a tendency towards “don’t believe what you’re told” people who end up being anti-vax, climate change deniers
I can’t say it’s a thing I’ve noticed especially, I just think that a surprising amount of people are like that but you often only get to hear some views if you spend enough time with people e.g. colleagues. I work in development but for the NHS, though. So perhaps there’s more of an organisational tendency towards being evidence-based or something.
