The only people I know who believe this stuff are people still on Facebook who watch the stupid videos that come up on your feeds.
I don’t know why it bothers me so much. People are allowed different opinions and to be wrong and all that but the climate thing reslly grinds my gears
i challenged one of them the other day. showed him the xkcd graph (xkcd: Earth Temperature Timeline) and asked about the much more frequent extreme weather patterns all over the globe in recent years. his response was that you’re TOLD about the weather but that doesn’t mean it’s what’s really happening. at the end of the day their arguments always come down to “you can’t trust the government, you can’t trust the media, you can’t trust scientists” - everyone has an agenda apparently. however clearly you can trust some fucko with a wordpress blog trying to sell a book on climate change Illuminati

Sounds like flat earth mentality
Well that kind of mentality went wrong for this guy . I heard him being discussed on podcasts a few times and I wish it had been successful so he could see the earth was round , instead he ended up flat as a pancake like his belief.

Urbis got nobbed. Lame.
I lived Manchester for two years, and didn’t really enjoy skating it that much, but it’s massive part of the scene. And as said in the post below, Manchester City Coucil has a lot more to worry about that skateboarders. Piccadilly Gardens is grim, the area around Urbis isn’t that great either and doubt this will help.

Great write up 
Such a wank attitude from the council. The council that now has people in thier 40/50’s who grew up with skaters around and their kids probably skate too.
Again not grasping skate culture and the importance of street skating. They shouldn’t expect us to be penned in at skateparks that have a street section .
They’ll now have a cat and mouse game with skaters defying the ban and wasting everyone’s time and money.

You know it’s fucked when you can get a 500 quid fine for riding a skateboard yet you can most likely sit there in your own piss twiggin off bath salts and not even get told to do one.
Always think of the on video love park doco where they show it bustling with people then it’s deserted with “bums taking shits in the grass”

ha was waiting for that. Gotto admit though at one point there was very few main users and half of them were mods. Partly down to the fact that other platforms were new and people started to use them more and Sidewalk less. I did for a good while when I was concentrating on music and not even thinking of skating.
My snowboarding trip to Morzine on the 21st is likely to get cancelled isn’t it? Sigh.

Guy from work is daughter was due to go skiing and they wouldn’t get a refund so still planed to go. 2 days before they managed to get a refund
Had a 2/3 month long trip to Palestine coming up in a couple months that’s cancelled. Super not stoked on that one as it’s been a long time planning and saving too. No idea if I’ll be getting my flight cost back
