All three of us in our house have a cold. Dont feel too bad at the minute but the paranoid part of my brain is telling me its definitely terminal.
Yeah it really doesn’t help that there’s so many colds and coughs going around. Not to mention normal flu and norovirus which apparently travels around much better on hands that have been over washed and don’t have the bodies natural oils on them anymore
We’ve had cold circulating within our house for the past week or two.
I just said to the Mrs that if there was a drive through test station nearby that I’d be willing to drop by and get checked for peace of mind.
Wife reminded me I had all the symptoms at the end of January to mid feb. Has made me wonder
i’m certain that in many months time it’s going to come out that this was already around way earlier than reported and most of us had already had it without realising
If that were true then it would show up in the number of negative vs postive tests.

Car had its Mot yesterday. It failed obviously being a 16 year old mondeo. Nice £376 bill.
My mum and dad are exactly the same, fucking fuckheads. Asked them if they are self isolating and they said yes and then said they were going to a quiz night. Wtf

I wonder if we’re gonna have another mini baby boom around Christmas/January with all those couples self isolating.
2020 has been pretty gnarly around me so far.
A lady died after a heart attack at the day care center where I work 3 weeks ago, then a week after that my girlfriend’s uncle (who was a fucking legend) passed away after a heart attack too. My girlfriend and her parents went to Canada for the funeral, pretty heavy stuff. My mother’s partner who’s going through chemotherapy at the moment had a heart attack yesterday as well. Luckily he’s fine and my mother seemed alright, told me I shouldn’t worry.

Ups and downs isn’t it? I’ve been ill for two weeks with a motherfucker of a cold and I cracked or bruised my ribs before that too. It is what it is.
We adopted 2 new chickens on Friday. My new job is just great. So are my colleagues. I got my driver’s license the other day. There are cool new skateparks here and there and some mates are organizing cool skate events.
I don’t even mind having to stay at home. Our place is rad and I love drawing and cooking.
All that shit we have to deal with these days will be behind us in a month or two. Everything’s gonna be alright.

Spent last night contacting all the train lines and hotels we had booked for Inter-railing at Easter. Was really hoping that was going to happen. My girls were super excited about it and I was looking forward to opening their eyes to that kind of travel. We’ve shifted our plans a couple of times already.
Shit happens, I guess.
