Let the boys breathe
Dunno which technique you’re getting but I definitely could’ve driven straight after. I didn’t. But I could’ve
If you don’t already own any, I would recommend buying a few pairs of very supportive, perhaps even tight, underwear
I drove to and from mine in my 40 year old mini ![]()
Only thing I can remember is supportive underwear like @nazoreth said and take paracetamol/ibuprofen to help with pain and swelling
I think i would have been ok driving. Its when the anesthetic stops working when its gets uncomfortable.
Thanks for the intel men. Really looking forward to it ![]()
Oh shit, I guess I won’t be seeing you down the curbs tomorrow.
God’s speed!
It’s really not bad at all. You’ll be fine
It’s Wednesday so maybe.
Big up @nazoreth
5 days on and this is worse. What the absolute fuck have I done. I tried tweaking something to try and make something slightly better and I’ve absolutely fucked it. Why is my life in the hands of Googles algorithms. Fuck sakes.
Could really not do with getting fired a.) before christmas or b.) ever
Fucking STRESSED.
Can’t you just CTRL+Z loads?
Restore from previous config?
It would be like trying to put a cake back together after you’ve dropped it on the floor.
Im speaking to an expert in this tomorrow. Hopfully he can give me a strategy to use.
I do this all the time, make changes to ads that are doing ok but not great, they go back into ‘Learning’ and it costs me a fortune. Meta ads are even worse.
Yep thats basically what I’ve done. CPC, CTR, Impressions etc are all unchanged but conversions have sunk like a stone. No issue with tracking. Nothing weird showing in the search term report. It’s weird.
I think I need to just bite the bullet, make a new campaign with all match types in it, go for max clicks with a big budget, then switch to max conversions once i hit 30 and then switch to target CPA after that. Start over.
Siiiiigh.
Is the website definitely able to convert the traffic? You’re not sending it from a country that can’t convert or something?
Yup. Wales.
C’mon Wales ffs. Buck up.
It had pretty steady dependable conversions since 2023…Until I tinkered with it too much. Cost / conv was creeping up so tried doing something fancy but I killed it. What a tit.
I know it’s online marketing and the stakes couldn’t he lower but this is pretty bad.
Also, is it definitely something you did? 100% sure?
No direct relevance but one time I replaced the drain on a bath then next day in the kitchen directly below there was a big damp patch on the wall. Told the plumber what I’d done and he opened up the wall and there was a pinhole leak in a lead pipe in the wall. Complete chance and nothing to do with drain I’d replaced earlier, to my absolute amazement.
Change in .js somewhere or double counting visits or black friday/competitor activity or something? I haven’t got a clue
Yeah. Well 99.99999999999999%
Didn’t think what I was doing was a big deal. At least this confirms I don’t have imposter syndrome anymore…just imposter.
Cmon man, I know as much as you do how easy it is to completely annihilate campaigns with one dumb change. You are by no means an imposter, you’ve been in these roles for a hot minute!
- Has anyone questioned it?
- Was it a big performer or the backbone of there PPC account?
- Obviously it will hit learning again but you could try and recreate the campaign using the change history log (dumb suggestion)
Chatting to a nice lady locally for a week then it comes to meeting up and she says she doesn’t date guys without cars. It’s a shame, she seemed cool. I said I could catch the train no worries. C’est la vie.
That’s very weird. Maybe you dodged a bullet.
