I’ve had the same happen to me several years ago (minus the kids) I’ve took worse slams pushing but was surprised how much it rattled me for the day, different kind of adrenaline for sure.
Was the driver on their phone per chance? Anyway glad everyone could walk away.
Driver on his phone plowed into a longwheel base sprinter who ended up ramming me. The back of my vivaro was fucked yet the sprinter had no damage whatsoever. Luckily it was a company and I didn’t have to deal with the fall out. Not sure why I didn’t claim on it tbh could have rinsed it karma I suppose.

My wife went really gently into the back of a brand new Audi yesterday, it broke their bumper and a sensor and because our insurance is up for renewal in a couple of weeks and we’re in a weird limbo period of importing our van to France and have kind of overstayed our Europe cover grace period we’re 2k out of pocket now.
My wife reversed our tow bar into a Porsche and it was something like £3k for a ding in the bumper. Serves her right for being in the Waitrose and not the Aldi car park.

I remember being down in Ware in Hertfordshire for the day when visiting family, rolled past the Aldi car park and it was full of Bentley’s, Ferraris and Porsches, thought it was a meetup or something but it seems all the expensive car dicks have to shop at Aldi because they spunk all their money on fancy houses and cars

Could have been worse for us but really silly. We could have done without a 2grand cost right now. The lady she hit was really nice about it and her brother in law was nearby and is a mechanic and came down to show my wife the costs for the parts online, so he’s going to do the work for free and we just have to replace the bits. Annoying but probably the best version of doing it outside insurance.

in the staff section of our Aldi car park theres always a nice Maserati parked up.
I worked in a sandwich shop when I was 17 and one of the guys there had a Bugatti (I think) with are they called gullwing doors? He was like 34 and lived with his mum and had it on credit.

Day 2 of my family being ill. No big dinner for me tomorrow 
Wisdom tooth is fucking killing me since yesterday. Happened once before and it went away after a few days, hope it does this time. I really don’t want to go to the dentist. It’s been about 20 years lol.
man after reading your comment yesterday i was thinking how it’s been awhile since i had a tooth thing, lo and behold i wake up today and a wisdom tooth has gone for a wander and the gum is a bit swollen. you have cursed me
Haha as I read this I was literally in waiting room to have filling on my wisdom tooth done. Was right at the very back of the back of it as well. Didn’t hurt that much, was fine tbh. 2nd visit to dentist in like 15 years I think.

Hear me out on this one… Raw onion and garlic. Absolutely solved my infected gum.
Start with the onion first as that is most stomachable? Just chop one up red or white and then chew and swallow a few bits. You can even make a sandwich if it is easier or salad. After an hour or so you should notice the swelling go down. You can go full nuclear by chewing and swallowing some raw garlic but I didn’t find it necessary.
Sounds a bit woo woo I know but genuinely works for me.

I just used Bonjela (which I love, I’d eat as a snack it if it wasn’t medicine), luckily the swelling is going away now. I should probably start going to the dentist again though!

Ahaha. Yeah, realise I sound totally batshit but genuinely such a strong anti-inflammatory. Glad ye olde bonjela has helped though. Nothing worse than teeth issues
There is a Skate jam at my local tomorrow (Unit 1 Hanley) but I fucked myself there nicely last weekend so shouldn’t skate. Can work around my knee (still swollen and bruised) but bruised ribs is a different beast. Likely I’ll lurk for the free skate after the comps are done, maybe roll about a little 
Forgot about the guard for my clippers and now I have no beard. Devastating
