I had most of it, just 3 months of top line figures that needed manipulating from a few different sources with formulas that needed to be made etc. That’s the stressful bit! It’s all good though.

I took @Les_Zeppelin advice and spent 30 minutes with it on chat gpt so it should be in shape for the rest of 2025 now I know what the fuck I need to do!

If you do a lot of reporting, do you use Google Looker Studio?
The trick is to try and automate things to make your life easier, but in a way only you undertand. If I left, all my reports would collapse instantly.
So my issue here is because of our business and payment methods accepted, there is an opportunity for people to order and then not actually pay. If they are ROW an paying Crypto, they can checkout which logs in GA4 as a purchase event, but then the revenue wasn’t actually made.
So we need CRM figures that the finance team have to give us because say again ROW, think how many different currencies people pay etc. Nightmare.
I miss Universal Analytics to be honest. The region function is fucked on GA4 so building ROW explorations excluding USA, SA, EU etc just takes fucking ages as you blokc by country… waaaaa.

Maybe have a look at Supermetrics + Looker Studio. You might be able to build what you need in there. Maybe.

Analytics should never be used as an accounting tool though, esp one as shite as GA4. For general trends and audience building it’s good, beyond that - no way. On top of Les’ suggestion, I’d start looking into using BigQuery for reporting, and Gemini/ChatGPT can help loads with that so you don’t really need full SQL ability. And Looker Studio can have BQ plugged right in.

Been ill since last Tuesday. Thought it was just a heavy cold, the usual fuzzy head, no energy type thing, and went home early from work Thursday as I wasn’t feeling great. Spent all weekend in bed basically thinking it’d shift it by Monday, and yet now it’s somehow worse.
Had insane dreams last night, woke up 5 times. I’m coughing like I smoke a pack a day. Fantastic start to January
Had it 2 weeks ago and im still coughing loads. Considering calling the doctors as it not going away and i still feel really groggy
Electricity cut out earlier but is thankfully back up now. Bit windy out there.

Thankfully I no longer have to fill one in.
Got a £10k tax bill. Was on the wrong code for 3 years and had to do 3 self assessments for last 3 tax years.
Managed to get a 2 year payment plan even though they over paid me for 3 years
Never felt so broke whilst grossing more than I have before

aw man thats so fucked up. how did it get so wrong if you were submitting self assessments?
Problem is that annual bonus put me into self assessment territory without me or HMRC realising until last month so they sent me 3 x backdated requests
Basically I was given a tax allowance that I shouldn’t have qualified for and need to pay it back
