Not Stoked.

Had a car rear window shatter like that. Called bullshit like someone had done it on purpose managed to get some CCTV and watched it crack with the heat

Pretty sure the pane can just be replaced, when we bought our old house the French doors looked just like that but had a cat flap fitted into the glass. They left the original pane in the cupboard for us.

When we had a handy man doing a couple other bits he switched it out, took about 5 minutes.

Also out of interest does yours swell in hot weather? Ours does and makes it difficult to open/close, wonder if that’s caused it to pop?

Yeah got a local double glazing bloke coming to take a look this week.

Not had any issues with swelling and what doesn’t make sense is the other door that leads outside was open

Bit personal, lets keep it about windows yeah?

Bonus point if anyone gets the topical reference.

EML back on in the car, relates to EGR valve which I had sorted not long ago.

I have cleared the codes and let it run but, the last time I had that glimmer of hope, it returned after I left the car for a bit.

Bugger, bugger, bugger.

Bought a new crank handle cable stripper for the 10 bin bags full of copper I’m gonna weigh in.
Stripped 5cms before the cable snagged on the front feeding guard, “I’ll remove that” I thought and proceeded to reverse the cable back into the mechanism along with my finger.

Deepest cut I’ve had in a while. I wouldn’t be too bothered had I not spent the morning mopping the kitchen and hallway or misplacing my van keys that holds my first aid kit. Awesome.

Just gone to put my daughter to bed and noticed her window has cracked. Whose next?.

Pane in the arse. And wallet.

I’ll second that.

Some cheeky monkey tried to use my card details to pay £75 to OnlyFans at 3am, so the card was cancelled and I’m cash only for the next few days. First world problem but it fucking stinks. Already had my iCloud subscription knocked back.

Does make me wonder what you’re getting for £75 on OnlyFans though.

I’ll do it for £25

Bought a new router yesterday as the Virgin one is shit. Everything is better but I can’t get my robot vac to reconnect.

What’s a step higher than “first world problems”? this feels like it might be that

IoT devices like this usually need a 2.4GHz wifi network to connect, I’m guessing your only network is 5GHz.

Had this with some smart lights. They will only connect to 2.4GHz so maybe you have the same issue. Had to split the dual band router into two frequencies.

Top new router tip: if you cannot be arsed reconnecting all the devices to a new router, just rename the router the same name as the old one and give it the same password.

Also applicable to phone hotspots, I use my home network as my hotspot wifi name/passto save me having to retype everything for kids’ devices. And I can remember the ridiculous password off the top of my head.
