Turned out it was my stupidity, I was supposed to push down two buttons on the robot not one, got it working now.
For giggles sake, my robot vacuum is called “Obi Wan-Cleanobi”

Speaking of connectivity issues. Can anyone recommend a decent TP Link/WiFi booster?
A private car dealer (can’t find them on companies house, only selling 5 or so cars on cargurus.com) has left two cars parked in front of our house for 3 weeks. I rang the number listed on car gurus and asked him to move them as it’s a residential road. He moved one but left the other.
I called him again and asked him to move the other and he’s refused. Anyone dealt with anything like this before? I get it’s not illegal to park a car on a road with no parking restrictions but it’s a fucking pain on a road where everyone is already fighting for a parking space come 5pm
Anything that can be done legally? I’m going to put a note with his number through everyone’s doors, asking them to call and annoy him so we can liberate some more parking spaces on the road but beyond that I don’t think there’s much to be done?

You can run a check on the MOT and tax registers. He’s probably not covered to park cars on the street if he has trader insurance. Not much you can do without being a bit of a knob about it, but maybe it’s justified

I’d like to avoid being an overt knob as I imagine they live on the road or a nearby road.
I moved away from London to a quiet suburb to help avoid listening to shouting matches outside my bedroom window, don’t want to contribute to one haha

Yeah absolute pain in the arse to deal with. My mum has 3 converted vans outside her house that come and go for weeks at a time.
I’m wondering if I take a quick tour of the street turns up the other 4 cars listed for sale under the dealer also.
Obviously i won’t, but the estate upbringing in me wants me to take the hammer to it
A recurring childhood memory of mine was the sight of a burning car in the lay-by opposite my flat, which at one point felt like a weekly occurrence. Now, almost 40 years later I’m wondering if they weren’t just joyride fodder and instead the results of a faux middle class neighbour, such as myself, dealing out vigilante Justice on a private seller on the estate.

Walked the dog up the road and realised this absolute Michael just moved one of the cars to the other side of the street and does in fact have a third car also, all within about 50 feet of each other.
