Yeah, our cats aren’t bothered either, they seem to just deal with it like it’s weather or something, rather than anything that’s going to get them somehow.

On the subject of pets, my dog escaped this morning… which is never fun as she usually heads straight for roads and makes me think she’ll get flattened… but this morning she ran right in a neighbours front door (which was wide open for some reason), straight through their house and into their yard where they have chickens. Was calling at the front door to try and let them know that my dog was in their house… then after being told to “hang on”, suddenly my dog is chasing three chickens out of their yard and is trying to bring one down. Feathers everywhere. Another neighbour managed to grab my dog and get it off the chicken. Got the lead on her and went chasing after the other chicken and managed to corner it and pick it up (was so expecting to get clawed/pecked or whatever). Managed to get it back to the neighbours house and check that everything was ok, but felt very horrible.

In-law’s contribution to the news that elderly relative on my side is probably going to die pretty soon = “It’s probably for best, he’s ready to go”. I know in theory that might be appropriate in some circumstances but read the fucking room.

So cause everything is going so well recently finnished work after a long 14 hour day. Then thought oh the warning lights saying the tyre pressure is low. So go to garage on way home.
At this point its worth noting I know nothing about cars dont have a clue. So do one back tyre no problem. Go to do other one then think ive done it hen somehow the metal screw nozzle bit you put the air pump onto comes off. Cant get any air in and so all the air comes out and ive got a flat.
Pissed about with internet for ages trying to work out who I am covered by ( lease car through work ). Now gotta wait should be here by 10. Just what i need. Tired and hungry. Typical.
