Jah favourite is weird. He hasn’t won anything for a long time.
I don’t really follow the Olympic qualifiers? Are these odds based off stats from them? I read on here that there was a chance Yuto might not qualify? So I’m guessing that is why his odds are so high/low(?) even though he is the current Olympic champ. Did Jah gain more points over all in the qualifiers or something and why these odds end up looking so wrong to us (skaters)?
I’m not sure any of that made sense.
Dunno but Fiddy on Yuto is tempting.
All in on Ginwoo (is that how this works?).
Also, can you bet on Andy Mac coming dead last?
There’s the other decrepit guy from South Africa that seems to have worse odds.
I remember something from the peep show dvd commentary. They said everything in shot in the series had to be average. Mundane. Not shit just boringly middle of the road. Every prop, location, item of clothing.
Nah he’s still in prison…
EDIT: Released in Jan.
I doubt that. He doesn’t have the trick bag to get to that level.
He’ll be 8th place or something…
I won £50 on Yuto winning last time!
Giovanni Vianna could be an interesting way to spend a few quid. His odds are very high, and he has that “he’s the only one doing his tricks” thing going on that could do well on the day if others choke. He did very well in Street league recently.
Only just read these replies and I’ve deduced that none of you should ever gamble, especially on skateboarding
Besides @Les_Zeppelin
You won’t be able to bet more than £20 because the bookies have no fucking idea how to price skateboarding bets (which is why the odds are so wrong)
I only bet on the golf (and occasionally snooker) generally.
I did pick Xander Schaufelle as a straight out winner (no EW shite) this year for the Open. That felt good.
I only put on about two bets a year, badly
Haven’t bet at all this year
Usually do the Euros, didn’t bother and Darts, haven’t bothered either.
@hugo i don’t gamble, but if I were to, what would be the optimum Olympic skateboarding bet?
Fiddy on Yuto.
@hugo give us a bet.
China to win the first gold of the games.
Shocked to see Shane O’Neill at 100/1 but Felipe at 50/1. I haven’t paid attention to contest skating for a long time but Gustavo Ribero at 15/1 looks safer than Nigel
