I find Jake Rosenberg can come across as a bit self important at times also anyone’s use of the historic present tense annoys me and he uses it a lot (It drove me nuts in his 9 Club thing - it’s just a pet hate of mine). That said this was still a good watch and covers a few things that haven’t been brought up in previous interviews with him. Some interesting tangents in there too.

From what I remember the furore re ‘skate mum’ came about because that (final?) DITC was judged by a snowboarder and the filmer who made ‘skate mum’ was also a snowboarder who won the cash prize.
There were suggestions of foul play on the old forum and elsewhere due to this.
And due to the fact that, from what I remember, the ‘skate mum’ edit was awful.

Ah yeah, just checked - Adam Gendle made the edit who was a big name in snowboarding at that time and has gone on to be a big ish name in broadcasting since.

I’m going out on a limb to admit liking the skate mum edit. When she goes “weeeee” always gets me.
The only fools section is at the top though, although Moggins is the most unconvincing plod ever. He looks about 10!
