Same here, bottle a day between me and the wife. Used to be 2 over the weekend max but that’s gone to shit. Going dry after this…bottle…
Got my 4 year no drinking anniversary coming up in a week or so and this whole situation is putting me to the test.

My new ‘family situation’ means drinking is pretty much out of the question right now and I’m currently fitting into clothes I haven’t even looked at for years. Even my hats feel baggy. Been doing up a room (for myself) which has been reasonable exercise too I suppose.

We had after work beers on friday on Microsoft teams which was fun. But apart from that not much boozing. Haven’t smoked all week either.
Didn’t have booze for a month and a half until the last couple of evenings and nothing excessive.
The glass recycling bins round here are absolutely fucked and piled high, haha it’s kinda amusing but also not. Atleast people are still concerned about recycling.
Friend at work shot some quick photos of me in the car park at lunch time the other week. He shoots lots on film and I was stoked when I got them this morning.

Mrs went to Sainsburys during the aforementioned NHS and carers hour.
Got a few bits, described it as quite peaceful and they gave her a bunch of flowers as she left.

It’s spookily quiet again today, still not a plane in the sky which is super weird given where I’ve lived for 5 years now is on a flight path.
We have a small airport here planes go to Dublin and London I think. We were in the back yard and with 5 minutes we had 3 planes go over. Just small ones
What’s everybody’s work situation right now?
Still off. Had a conference call this morning. Not much going on for me at the moment. Got forwarded company wide bulletin generally saying about having to change working practices etc.
I work in a school of 1200 pupils but 14 children of keyworkers in at the moment, 2 days a week on a rota currently but I doubt it’ll keep going after this week
My whole industry shut down on Friday except live broadcast. Most of the industry is freelance/self employed too.
Luckily I have a couple of trades behind me (carpentry/plastering) so I’ll be taking the odd jobs when they surface . I really hope the government sort out the self employed soon
Still in isolation for a week as we all had coughs last week. Trying to work from home with the little one running around. My wife works in transport so is technically a key worker but were not to keen on sending the little one in.
Getting the 80% deal from one job, but considering I work three and one is as a freelancer I think I’m gonna get screwed the most, gonna be really hard to receive any sort of reimbursement from my normal wage. Do we have any laws introduced officially about paying rent or just the no evictions so far?
Self-employed. So…fucked. Lol.
Got a potential editing job lined up though that will pay well. Just hoping it still goes ahead.
