Yeah, I’ve always wanted a Bengal (America, bloodstock: Egyptian Mau, Abyssinian, and others (domestic); Asian leopard cat (wild)). £500 - £2,000 to buy.
British shorthairs are between £500 and £1k. I guess if it lives for 20 years its money well spent, and ultimately, cheaper than a human child. Half tempted to save up for (a cheaper one) next year. I do like those cats in particular as they’re pretty laid back and have a nice habit of following you around and sitting close by wherever you are – the perfect balance between a neediness of a dog and a the usual aloofness of a cat. They’re also hypoallergenic, which is a plus
Mum has had loads of cats while I was growing up.
Bred Persians and they were amazing as a kid.
Loads of little cats growing up etc.
She had some American Maine Coons too and they were so friendly and fun.
I prefer cats to dogs.

I just got food for my chickens from a local farmer and his wife told me that she might be able to get me two young Red Orpingtons next spring, psyched on possibly having English hens in my garden next year. Those are fluffy and simply gorgeous.
I love my cats so much. Posting this picture (again?) because it’s just great.

My Mrs wants a spynx I call them ball bag cats. We already have a tortoise shell, who’s weird. She never comes to sit on us etc but is weirdly protective of the house and the kids. She will fight off any other cats that come near the house. And if we are outside she hovers round but won’t go further then her boundary. And she hears my car pull up and runs over to the car and lingers about.
I love all cats but these do look weird. The fluffier, the better, in my book.
I almost adopted 2 rabbits this year. Didn’t happen in the end but I’d love to have some some day. I wonder if they could sleep in the coop with my chickens or if they’d need their own shelter ting?

Yes, you can do this. I live near a petting zoo type place and they have them together in the same hutches.

I think all the OGs are in some way from what I know
In so far as he’s repping it, yes, but in terms of the business side/actually doing it, I believe that’s pretty much just Mon Barbour (with Ian Roxborough of R.A.D fame helping with some of the designs).
I’ve got a few bits from them and it’s all good quality.
