Rent, office equipment (everything from stationery, to internet / phone / electricity (especially when WFH), office tea & coffee, computer hardware, software, desks, seating, trade samples, flights, accomodation for “business” trips…

I used HSBC Business when I was in the UK, it had 18 months of zero fees when I set all that up with them back in 2012. Definitely shop around and see what they’re all offering.

Best of luck with all this Ned, mad props!

Shouldn’t need office space at the start, and will look into that down the line.

It’s going to be hard for sure but what we have planned it should hopefully take off eventually. It’s something a lot of people will be looking at right now I think.

Our main problem right now is getting started so we can approach some of the major manufacturers in the near future.

@Les_Zeppelin I will certainly need a little piece of your expertise at some point to bounce a few ideas off. It’s not going to cost that much money to try. Hopefully get a 3month temp job while I build the site. Hopefully that bit doesn’t turn out shit.

keen are hiring, or they were

Going to a place called Izmir in Turkey for dental work in March.

Anyone been?

No but keen to hear why people go abroad for dental, is it really worth it?

Is it for surgery or something that can’t be done with orthodontics? That’s weird I was just googling about stuff like this earlier today, I haven’t been to dentist for years.

I’m getting full hygiene treatment and a difficult tooth extracted followed by a full set of crowns and veneers.

I didn’t even look at the cost in the UK because it’s like £400 a tooth and that’s without all the other hidden costs.

This is going to cost about £3k including flights and a 4 star hotel.

Shit man teeth are expensive.

Yeah I guess if you look after them and go regularly it’s fine.

I’ve not been to the dentist in 20 years and it shows…

Are you going full Biebel?

Not full biebel but if you know me you will notice that I’ve had them done for sure. They will look fake I’m sure but I don’t really care.

I had a phobia of the dentist when I was younger. My teeth are OK now, but they are not the straightest etc. Just hope with brushing etc and regular trips now I don’t instil my fear into the kids and they can grow up having nicer teeth then me

If I’m going to have my teeth ground down to stubbs and fake teeth put on, I’m going obnoxiously white Beebs steez

Surely you must be able to get them where they aren’t fullY biebel.
Like a natural looking colour and get one just little on the wonk.

One of my front top teeth is fake and when they did it they managed to make it look just like it had been in my mouth with all that red wine and smoke for the the last 25 years along with the rest of 'em. Incredible.

Lol yeah.

At 0.55 he looks just like Alan Partridge having a pop at the undead. Looked like he’d cleaned himself up a bit by 3.05 though.

I know it’s a stereotype but what is it with Britain’s rep for bad teeth? Is that it’s no longer free via the NHS? Sugary tea?
