Any of you lot had braces as an adult? My top row are perfect but the bottom are a bit janky at the front, and I’m starting to feel I’d rather correct this sooner than later. I’m seeing the dentist in a few weeks and I’m going to see what my options are.

I believe there’s Invisalign which is obviously less ridiculous looking than ‘train tracks’, but it looks slightly gimmicky - and for whatever reason I imagine taking the hit with the train tracks would be more effective and efficient.

Any tips/advice welcome.

Go to Turkey and get a hollywood smile

I’ve been interested in this after 10+ years of ignoring my teeth and not having good ones in the 1st place

Nah. I’m not into the Jurgen Klopp look.

My teeth are otherwise pretty good and fortunately my top row are really well aligned. It’s just the bottom ones need a bit of straightening really.

Amazing, Bradford on Avon was my local growing up. I think the council got rid a few years back as it rusted to fuck. I think about that metal spine ramp all the time.

hopefully there’ll be a first edition in there somewhere

The people I’m buying my house from are taking all the curtain poles. It feels a little… petty.

They also have this massive hut thing in the garden that kids can play in and have tried flogging it to me for 200 quid. Erm… No.

It’s going to be such a pain the arse to get rid of so I’m not going to be surprised if that’s there when we move in.

Just worried about them taking the copper wire out of the walls at this rate.

An ex from a bit back took the curtains when we split up. In fact every time we had a massive argument she’d take them down.

You must’ve been absolutely devastated every time that happened.

It certainly shone a new light on the relationship.

mate ive heard of people taking all kinds of shit. have a fair few friends in council houses in london and they’ve moved into places where the previous tenants took fucking carpeting and floor tiles with them when the left

edit - and lightbulbs! apparently it’s ultra common to move into someplace and all of the lightbulbs be gone. who the fuck takes lightbulbs

Im not even vaguely surprised. We’ve always lucked out with buying/selling and left shit because it was specific to the house but there must be some clinically frugal people out there thatd do it

In Germany, it tends to be kitchens. Not just a toaster or shelf, but the entire fucking thing. Keeps Ikea in good business when foreigners move there for work.

My mate lives in Germany and she was saying that people rent their kitchens there. Not a couple of folk but everyone.

lol that’s nuts

I skated that spine ramp which was similar or the same as the little one in Bath.

I would have been about 13 and I was on a canal boat trip with my friend from school and his family.

There was also a park in Devizes but it was shit.

I’ve been to a wedding there. Spent 150 quid to stay in a ‘boutique’ hotel for about 40 conscious minutes total. Nice place.

It’s the same in the Netherlands, sometimes if you rent a place you need to bring your own kitchen. And as it’s never fitted properly a lot of places have these weird temporary kitchens. Bizarre

I bet they ain’t wooden worktops either.
