Pointless Topics

Yeah honestly I was totally being bellendy and I knew it sorry lads. I just don’t like being compared to someone that fucks over old ladies with their shopping prices or compared to actual thieves when all I do is pinch a chocolate bar with my weekly shop, when there are so many moral injustices that the average person does that are most def worse. And the topic got super deep and intricate about morals. I’m always making very conscious efforts to be a better person so I think I did get touchy about dudes I don’t know personally or their choices being judgemental about something there wasn’t much context for. I don’t think stealing is a political statement either in the slightest and this has all got a bit misconceived about intentions. And I bet people in here have done cash in hand work and not given a fuck. Online conversations are always going to lack deeper context.

Sorry les for a personal attack just also don’t like the comment ‘fucking idiots’ rather than seeing it as a difference in opinion and shouldn’t have let it bother me. And I was letting how I’ve seen you discuss opinions political or otherwise interfere with something that should have been a blank slate.

One last edit: don’t actually think Hugo is a tax dodger was just teasin cos I know he likes flash stuff. Genuinely love chatting breeze with you all.

Yeah and play fighting with your mates is the same as beating up kids for a laugh. You’re a mansplainer when it comes to your opinions on here.

meats also, if you’re bored or interested theres a bbc show called canny cops that followed around cops and junkies alike on their day to day routine, think ep 2/3 in seaham showed this local lass notorious for being on heroin going into tesco with this huge fuck off coat, taking a fuckton of pre packaged meats and other shit then selling/trading it for h and shooting up.

always get offered random aftershaves probably just came out of a debenhams window display from homeless fellas

LOL. You’re losing it pal.

Whether or not or you’re a thief isn’t my opinion. It’s just a fact.

You’re not play stealing so your analogy is a load of absolute shit.

All good man. None of us are right or wrong, everything is all man made ideas and concepts anyway so you just have to choose what you feel is correct on a personal level.

Ha, so people who steal are the cool creative ones and the people who don’t are twee nobodies with not much between their ears?
Nice.
We all know who Morrisey turned out to be don’t we?

Um, it was a joke.

But it is true that I can’t think of any popular songs about following the rules, had to Google that one (which isn’t about shoplifting).

And yes Morrissey is a grade A cunt, but the song is called Shoplifters of the World Unite.

I was thinking of using this one.

Edit: scrap that. Sorry all to have contributed negativity to a sick forum that’s supposed to be about skateboarding and rad shit and not my crappy opinions. Bigup more stoke.

Anyone able to give me some advice on blunt to fakies? I’m struggling to even get into them. I either fly out of the ramp or go into a rock.

Actually, is there a tips thread? Couldn’t find one so I’ll make one if needs be…

I learnt them on a 3ft mini, if you Ollie hard enough you can pretty much do a fatty to flatty.

That being said I’ve don’t a few on 4ft ramps but have never been confident on them.

Managed to lock in to a few at my local tonight. Definitely go axle stall speed, and it seems like you’ve got to pop out the moment you lock in… Stalling for long is what’s gonna cause a slam, I reckon.

Plus, you look like a right nob hanging about on the coping for ages.

Learn to nosegrab out and learn to pop out to rock fakie and then combine the two.
I don’t like to hang about too long and find it easier to use the momentum of getting into the stall to pop straight back out.

Just got a notification… Illegal. Sorry.

aye illegal for sure but defo a stepping stone to popping back in no grab

I would also say to rock fakie is stinking too

2 ways to do it IMO.

  • ollie back in as big as you can (try not to end up on flat bottom)
  • small pop, fakie mannie back in

Getting a mix between the two so your front wheels hit a short distance below the coping is the sweet spot. And the shorter you stall it the better.

But that will come with practice.

Ah sick a trick I can actually do. Spanky is right with the little manny back in but that way scares the shit out of me.

Approach ramp with enough speed to get your back wheels over the coping, but try and keep your weight on the coping if you understand me. Not too much on the back truck or over the deck.

Then literally just ollie, the snap will help you clear the coping on your way back in son you don’t hang up.

Rinse and repeat for kickflip in, bs ollie in. Front Blunts are super weird, haha.

Would say perfect size to learn, nice 3ft quarter with a bit of whip to them. I think I only have footage of an old flip in at the Oxford Spine ramp rather than just a straight Blunt Fakie.

Hope that helps.
