Didn’t know where to post this and hope it’s ok to post here, as I’m not sure where to go forwards with this issue, but does anyone know how to get hold of Zach McAdam (VXMedic)?
All comms have gone quiet in the past year (only had emails between him and Insta messages to liaise with him). I know he’s deleted his insta a few months ago and a few people have asked about how to get hold of him because of that. He had some mental health issues and ended up probably taking on too much of a work load a year or so ago and I understand and all, but I’ve left it almost over a year now to wait for my shit to come back.
I totally get it if anyone doesn’t wish give me his details, but if they could reach out to him, that’d be cool.
Skated Prissick Plaza today as my mum had an appointment at the nearby hospital and needed a lift.
£3 to skate it, otherwise the nearby leisure centre keep it locked up. The park cost £450,000 back in the early ‘00s and is still really skateable. It was mainly (entirely?) funded by public money. Seems massively underused.
Sorry you’re in the same boat as many, many people. He owes Chris (one of the Decimal crew) his camera(s) and also a good few hundred quid back for not completing the work that he was meant to do. I’ve tried over the last couple of years alongside Chris to get it sorted for him, but every time we end up at a brick wall.
Last I heard he worked at Slugger, which is how someone else I know managed to get their VX1 back after a long battle. Such a shitty situation.
I understand that he’s had troubles, but he could at the very least do the right thing and send people their equipment back and return their money. He definitely would know who’s equipment he has.
Yep! TBH at the time IIRC he wasn’t dealing with anything from the UK, as he had some bullshit arise from Brexit related docs with a few people. However always used VX Doc for anything VX related, good egg.
Also gave me back my main board when my camera had nowt wrong with it, so I used that to fix another VX I fixed recently. Most would probably keep that for themselves but he was honest and just said it was fine, so he gave it back just in case. Legend.
Sons uni graduation next week, has to do the cap and gown and all that.
Question is how fancy does he need to get dressed up.
Fully suited?
Office casual?
Jeans and tshirt?
I just went in jeans and a formal shirt, no tie. The ceremony didn’t matter that much to me. Felt like they made sure everyone got a 2.1 anyway to keep people happy. Even leaked questions to us so we could prepare before final exams. Maybe I’m cynical but it felt like big business rather than a serious academic institution.
