How did you bust?

Came back from dinner break with 4 hours left and a good stack but had ti get it moving because blinds increased quite a bit.

Lost half my stack with JJ vs AK all in pre flop.

Then lost a big hand where I had a pair and flush draw and tried to bluff someone off top pair, they thought for ages and called and I didn’t hit one of my 12 outs on the river.

Last hand was annoying, was all in for 10bb with A9 and someone called with 67! and flopped a straight. Was 30 mins left until day 2.

Ran bad when it mattered but made no mistakes. Will probably get another shot next year.

Why hasn’t ludo Gordon got sorted out properly?

It’s not embedding but it’s a fakie 360 flip switch manual switch flip on a skate park pier 7 replica.

Judging from his insta, possibly because he’s making decent money as a model and thus maybe gave up the sponno chase mirage?

Yeah I get that but really isn’t it a bit selfish to choose personal fulfilment to the detriment of my footage consumption?

If that photo isn’t proof enough that they are core af then this list of essential skateshop stock should convince any doubters.

Although I think they’re missing a trick by not stocking yo-yos, kites and dictionaries.

Carrying on from the internal monologue convo:
I find it hard to believe that people can’t build pictures in their mind and have memories.
Further in the article it touches upon my point that you can’t necessarily trust people what they say they can and can’t do and to what level. Because internal monologue isn’t actually a loud voice like speaking to someone and memories and imagination isn’t like seeing with your eyes open, there is work to be done to build these up to an comprehensive state.

Differences in visual imagery and inner speech are just the tip of the iceberg. Other hidden differences include synaesthesia, Greek for ‘union of the senses’, in which people hear lights or taste sounds, and Eigengrau , a German word for the ‘intrinsic grey’ we see when we close our eyes. Except not all of us experience Eigengrau . About 10 per cent in our samples claim their experience is nothing like Eigengrau . Instead, when they close their eyes, they report seeing colourful patterns or a kind of visual static noise, like an analogue TV not tuned to a channel."

Woah! I honestly thought everyone saw colours and shapes with their eyes closed.

Yeah exactly. If the loss of these things is true, damn… That sucks.

I get migraines and when mine happen I see a little piece of ‘broken television’ when I close my eyes and it corresponds with a blind spot in my vision. My daughter has inherited them but when she gets one her broken television is black and white whereas mine has always been colour.

If I have my eyes closed and I hear a loud noise I get a flash of white but nothing else outstanding.

I can steer my visual noise into all sorts. Can go all psychedelic trip albeit a very muted version to the real thing. I say real, it’s the same thing I think the brain can do all this stuff naturally with the right trigger and state.
