Back on the pizza talk, a solid super market frozen option
These are decent. Calabrese doesn’t always sit well with me and sometimes I get the squirts the next day
That looks good but that needs to have been in the oven at least 3/4 mins less!
You are the legend, thanks for the inspiration!
I don’t eat tomato and always made my pizzas with store-bought dough. I don’t really buy much processed food otherwise.
Kinda want one of those Ooni pizza stones now!
Where can you buy the bubble wrap deck sleeves?
Had an interview for a National Trust job working in a cafe. Hope it went well but underestimated the time it’d take to cycle there and ended up having to sprint up the drive of a stately home to try and make it in time. Not a great look. The interview I thought went well though. Just panicked, when I should have calmly walked up to the house. They saw me and were a bit like what the fuck I think.
Maybe I should write them a follow up email. Apologise for cycling fast up to the home and something positive about wanting to work for them?
Send them a follow up email, thank them for their time and reiterate how much you’d like the job.
Don’t mention the running up the drive - they likely didn’t see, and if they did it’s more of an issue in your head than it is in reality. People get stuck in traffic, people are nervous and stressed in interviews, no big deal. I was an hour late to the interview for my previous job and I got it, so you never know!
If you do get the job, it’s then a funny anecdote you can use to break the ice on your first day.
Absolutely.
so, this did the rounds some time ago
but i only just discovered Mick Fleetwood did a cover version, heh
(if he’s on a skateboard i’ll eat my shorts)

This is gunna do you wonders my man. Interacting with people is the key
Can people fill in this survey gently but politely explaining all the ways in which this design is terrible:
Nice one.
Done. Those “rollovers” are those most impractical things in existence. The new maverick park near me has one and it makes the middle part completely unskateable and is only used for little kids running aground on their scooters before stacking it.
I called them superfluous nipples.
Just looking at that pic of that park and you can just see in one bit of it how impressive plans don’t translate into skateable skateparks.
Look at that ledge on the left. It’s just a bit too high. The floor is set into the quarter.
The right side…look at the stupid height and angle on the hubba by the hip. Why?!
Mumbles skate park has one right in front of a ledge.
Better off just using less, than trying to cram loads into one space.
The photos deceptive, the ledge is low, possibly a shadow underneath, but really short. And yep, hubba unskateable due to being on a hip and being gigantic.
Ah yeah even if it isn’t tall, it is too short! Where is it?
Just outside Plymouth
Isn’t it up in Gloucestershire?
That’s such a rubbish layout though, somehow cramming in things and yet wasting all the space. 4 pump bumps and a bowled corner to hit a single jumpbox!
The brief was obviously “we want a mix of skatepark and pumptrack”
