It’d be a nice size to learn all sorts of 180 manuals for sure.
It’s not too short that will let you land a manual by getting away with rolling off the end just drooping after initially hitting 2 wheels down. But it’s short enough to let you only correct your balance once and then roll off and land. Any longer and you’re into proper manual territory where you’re correcting balance more than once.

If that makes any sense at all.

Can you get a roof rack?

it’ll be usable for sure. again i think you’ll find it uncomfortable for flip/shove tricks (if you’re anything like me and the “narrowness” gets in your head)

@jimvo this video came up on YT:

I wonder if it’s useful to use the concept of it for you? So have the base and top seperate?

I guess it would be good to have some sort of dowel system to lock them together.

Dunno. Looks fun though.

If you havent got an angle grinder get a ‘bastard file’ (yes really) and give it some with the flat face. Itll be under a tenner and you wont do any damage to it. Just put a radius on the sharp edge.

TIL those things I have always known as a ‘griptape file’ are actually called ‘bastard files’. Much better name

N00b question then. Do I rub it rock fakie style, 50-50 style, or a weird way inbetween?

What helps is holding the other end of the file so both hands are on it so more force . I was holding the phone so couldn’t show this .

Talking about Kalis, did you see his last post on Insta? Homeboy isn’t skating like your average 48-year-old, that’s for sure.

Smash all your good stuff and swap it for a tablet that will be out of date and no longer supported in 5 years.

It’s just a bad visual metaphor that they have crushed down all that good stuff to fit into their new super thin iPad. Not smash up all your actual instruments and art supplies and just use this now!

Yeah, that doesn’t come off at all how they wanted it to I don’t think, I mean I get what they were going for. Just seems strange that a company as big as Apple apparently doesn’t test ads before releasing them.
