Maybe I misread, but the one bit I got from that statements was that none of the skate team had contracts or weird ones the new owners can’t find traces of? Ah, the good old skate industry…
That’s been an open secret for years - that Lakai operates on a no contract basis. That was part of the MJ beef wasn’t it?

I just think the industry is such a joke for trying to operate like this yet aspire to do “big business”. I mean, if you’re running your company with no contracts, you kind of shouldn’t be surprised if shit hits the fan.
I think that’s the deal with all of the Crail companies - ‘all on a handshake’ apparently.

There has been talk/speculation of shady business dealings going on over at Crailtap for years. Cooked books of riders royalties and such.
A friend did some work for them and they tried to change the agreed price at the last minute.
