I had a letter in Viz about Judith Hann. Can’t find it but it was something like

Had lunch next to Charlotte Rampling in a cosy and somehow almost empty restaurant in Paris. She was at the table next to ours. I don’t give a fuck about celebs but she oozed class in the best way possible.

Not got enough money for a new laptop so thought I’d try to use OS that used less system resources as I can’t upgrade RAM. Cue Linux Mint. Got a used NVME drive of FB Marketplace for 25 EUR and stuck Linux on there to dual boot with Windows. 4GB less baseline memory utilisation, same apps. It’s exactly the same as Windows tbh, after it’s all set up. Took a couple hours in total I think. Quite painless.Seems to be going ok.

RAM prices have gone mental at the moment, been toying back and forth about going for a mad gaming PC or a Mac mini for dev stuff and learning. Gaming PC is over 2 grand but oodles of memory and GPU, mac is 500 notes and can do everything just as well minus heavy games.
Not much of a gamer so i think it’s all just the pretty lights and RGB
