As well as it being Berra and Koston’s names smashed together like a celeb couple. I always took it that the Berrics was a play on words with (army) barracks too. Why the military logo.

That must have been such a crazy time for the blueprint team (kind of) breaking America. Wonder what the trigger point was for that, you had Smithy at wallenberg, Brady & Jensen in the Lakai vid, then suddenly Paul Shier is all over everything in California and on every other Berrics video, and they stared putting Americans on the BP team. Was pretty hectic for a while, it was cool

This is going to sound odd, but I don’t think they ever ‘broke’ America.
I do think that they had recognition from WFTW era onwards and sort of maintained it right up and through this Berrics thing to the same level.
Baines, Rattray and Shier had heavy presences in 411VM, for example. That was a decade earlier.
Static II with Shier alongside Oyola and Puleo was crazy. That was half a decade earlier and a year before L&F dropped.
Post-L&F, you have Jensen and Smithy in the Lakai video as you mentioned and then a year later you have Shier and Baines (and Lucien) in the DVS Dudes, Dudes, Dudes video.
There are bits which I am skipping past, but my point is that The Berrics United Nations was just another part of maintaining a level which they’d been on for quite some time.

I never understood why 411 turned down that blueprint promo, as I remember that being pretty sick. Or am I remembering that wrong?
